TOURNAMENT RULES
All matches to be played on pitches 30 yards x 40 yards with Size 3 balls

Registration from 9:00am, matches start at 9:30am

Under 6 Boys                     4 a side                 Maximum squad of 7                      Pug goals

Under 7s Boys                   4 a side                 Maximum squad of 7                      Pug goals

Registration from 1:00pm, matches start at 1:30pm

Under 8s Boys                   5 a side                 Maximum squad of 8                      Goals 8 x 4

Under 9s Girls                   6 a side                 Maximum squad of 9                      Goals 12 x 6

Game duration 12 minutes
Games are to be played straight through, no half time.
Any number of substitutions may be used (Rolling Substitutes)
Players must wear shin guards.
Goal areas will be 5 yards by 10 yards.
The kick-off is taken in the centre of the playing area to start the game and after a goal is scored.
All free kicks are indirect and the opposition must be at least 3 yards away.
Goalkeepers can handle the ball in their area and there are no restrictions on the number of steps they may take holding the ball.
The goalkeeper can leave the penalty area but cannot handle the ball outside of the penalty area.
Goalkeepers can either throw or kick the ball out of their hands.
Goal kicks can be taken from anywhere in the goal area – Opposition should be at least 3 yards away.
Players can pass the ball to their own goalkeeper, for the goalkeeper to handle the ball.
