Y029: Ystradgynlais AFC U15s charged under WWFA Standard Rule 24.1.11 failure of a Club’s Players, Officials and Spectators to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion or refrain from improper, conduct and language , during and after the match Llandarcy Purples U15s V Ystradgynlais AFC U15s on 11/10/2025.

Decision: Ystradgynlais AFC U15s denied the charge and opted to attend the personal hearing. The panel considered all evidence they heard and read from the club, they
reminded themselves that under FAW Rule 50, the standard of proof to be applied is the balance of probabilities. After carefully considering all the evidence
submitted, the panel found the club not guilty with no further action. The Players and Officials have served their suspensions from the day. The panel would like to
remind the club for any future games of the Codes of Conducts that all Players and Coaches sign to adhere to there. There will be a recommendation to the League to
appoint an official to any future games that the two teams play if possible. There will also be a recommendation that the Referee’s Officer write to the official to

Decision: Rockspur FC Girls U12s White accepted the charge and opted to attend the personal hearing. Decision: Camford Sports FC denied the charge and opted to attend the personal hearing. Therefore the panel considered all evidence they read from the referee, they reminded themselves that under FAW Rule 50, the standard of proof to be applied is the balance of probabilities. After carefully considering all the evidence submitted, the panel found the player guilty and the charge proven and also imposed that the charge should have included Technical Assault 3A.1.1.
Connor Morgan Camford Sports FC Player was fined the standard minimum penalty of £120.00 plus £15.00 costs and must serve 12 match suspension’s with 6 suspended until 31/05/2025 from 26^th November 2025. The amount of £135.00 to be paid to COMET within 31 days.

Decision The club was found Guilty as Carl Gwyther who was identified is not named on Comet. Carl Gwyther was issued a red card during the game by the referee and admitted losing his temper.
The club fined £150.00 plus £75.00 costs, there was also a 1 match suspension suspended for 12

Decision: Charge was found proven against the Club. Mitigating circumstance taken into account, was when the referee asked the club secretary to remove the identified offender, he did so immediately. Club fined £100 (£50 of this to be suspended for 12 months from the date of this decision, to only become payable if the club is found guilty of a similar charge in that period. Decision: Neath Town AFC admitted refusing to continue with the game and were found guilty of causing the abandonment. Mitigating circumstances were that the player receiving the discrimination, was too upset to continue playing and his teammates chose to support him. Club were issued a warning that in such circumstances the game should be played to a conclusion. No penalty issued but costs of £75 to be paid the WWFA were set.

Appeal: Appeal by Jake Simeone, Mumbles Rangers player, against the red Card in the game, AFC Glais v Mumbles Rangers on 30 November 2024.

Decision: Based on the video evidence provided it was clearly evident that the player pushed an opponent in the chest area and not in the face as stated in the referee’s report. This was also confirmed by a statement from the opponent and the referee had admitted that, if it was so then he would have issued a caution.

X026: Rhodri Huw Williams, Bonymaen Colts Player, under 24.1.9 for violent conduct (fighting with an opponent) during the match, FC Bonymaen v Bonymaen Colts which was abandoned on 14/09/24. Charge denied.

Decision: The player originally requested a personal hearing but then decided not to attend and have it decided on the written evidence provided which included his denial. The referee was unable to obtain the player’s name due to the number of people involved in the fracas as the end of the game. He therefore admitted he could not be 100% certain of his identity. The decision of the panel therefore that the charge was not proven. No costs were set.

X024: FC Bonymaen charged under 24.1.11 for the failure of its player and supporters to refrain from violence in the match, FC Bonymaen v Bonymaen Colts which was abandoned on 14/09/24. Charge Accepted.

Decision: FC Bonymaen had accepted the charge but attended to plead mitigation, which was that Bonymaen Colts players were, at least equally responsible for causing the abandonment. After lengthy discussion which considered the written and verbal statements from the club and the referee, FC Bonymaen was found guilty of causing the abandonment by the initial action of the players. FC Bonymaen fined £200 plus £75 costs and banned for the first match from 30th November 2024 for the club’s first team.
The club was also advised that they could submit proof of the actions of Bonymaen Colts which would be considered by WWFA.

X038: Craig Ian Nicholson, FC Bonymaen, club referee, charge under 24.1.9 for using offensive, insulting and homophobic language whilst refereeing the match between FC Bonymaen and Ragged School on 28/09/24, Denied.

Decision: The case was in response to the allegations submitted by Ragged School FC against Craig Nicholson. Club representatives attended the hearing to put it before the panel. Craig Nicholson was represented by his Club Secretary as he declined to offer evidence at the meeting. Due to discrepancies in witness statements the allegation of homophobic language was dismissed, with any post-match actions referred to being considered irrelevant. In arriving at their sentence, the Panel were entitled to make any inference they considered necessary from the defendant’s unwillingness to provide evidence and found him guilty on the basis of probability of using offensive language. Banned for three matches from 30th November along with a £12 fine and Costs of £75 to be paid via Comet.

She could not be identified and the club insisted she had no connection to them. No costs were set.

Prior to the third case the Referee, objected that, in line with point 2 of the Memorandum of Procedure at Personal Hearings, he had not had an opportunity to prepare his case, when the club introduced a written statement which had not been received or circulated prior to the hearing. The Chairman decided to reject this statement but allowed the club representative to verbally state its defence to the specific charge. Both parties then agreed to continue with the hearing.

Decision: The charge was amended to read ‘mass confrontation’ in place of ‘mass brawl’ in line with the referee’s statement. Chairman offered Tim Robinson the choice to have the hearing suspended to a
later date, three times. He declined and agreed to go ahead with the hearing following this amendment.
Club witnesses agreed that there was a mass confrontation between players from both clubs and were

Decision: Club found guilty as charged and fined the sum of £200 plus £10 costs. Also, this under 12 team is banned from playing its first game fixtured on or after 30 March 2024. The score at the time the match
