As part of the next phase of easing of restrictions, the Welsh Government have announced we will move to Alert Level 0 from Saturday 7th August.
The move to Alert Level 0 will see:
- Legal restrictions on the number of people who can meet indoors removed, including in private homes, public places or at events. Face coverings remain a legal requirement indoors, with the exception of hospitality premises.
- The use of changing rooms and indoor technical facilities can now resume subject to a Club / Facility Risk Assessment.
- Fully vaccinated adults, under 18s, and vaccine trial participants will not need to self-isolate if they are in close contact with someone with coronavirus.
*** Please note that the move to Alert Level 0 is subject to formal ratification from Welsh Government tomorrow (Friday 6th August 2021) ***
As a result of the amended restrictions in place at Alert Level 0, an updated Return to Play protocol document (see attached) has been developed, which includes specific protocols on the use of changing rooms, to reflect these amendments.
