During my Refereeing sessions with WPWL (Welsh Premier Women’s League) clubs this season, one common theme that was highlighted is the need for more female Referees in the game. This is something I touched upon in the sessions as a key priority and high on my objectives for 2019.
I am very pleased to announce we will be running a Female only Referees course with a practical session taking place on 12th May 2019 at Dragon park, Newport. The practical session will follow successful completion of the on-line modules. We will also be running a course at the new Colliers park, Wrexham towards the end of the summer/start of next season.
I have attached a flyer/poster for the course along with a generic Refereeing recruitment graphic. I would be extremely grateful if you can advertise our course via all of your social media/web channels and also circulate to your club members.
